Not optimized for iPhone 6/6+

Almost 6 months after iPhone 6/6+ came out, launching an app still unaware of the bigger devices is not the right thing to do!

Not good, requires a $20 subscription

Well this looks nice but I needed re-occurring charges and to be able to sync. Well I dont want to pay $20 a year for that. Charging so you can use re-occurring charges, really? I dont think I have seen a basic money management program that charges you $3.00 then makes you pay for a subscription. I would suggest looking at other apps that give you better options that dont charge you every year. Clara works good for me and there are other programs out there as well. These reviews that rate this highly are bogus.

For power users only

This app definitely caters to the power user. Because of this the interface can take quite some time to get used to. I have had a difficult time navigating the app and finding all the hidden features with it. This is really all you can fault the app for. Otherwise it is a great way to manage finances. All it needs now is an iPad (and/or Mac) app!!!

Great, but lacking one feature!

This app would have otherwise been perfect with 5 stars but it lacks the ability to add an initial balance. If you like to balance your accounts the traditional way, this app does not support it. I have faith in the developers though! Add a starting and rolling balance!

Ripoff Look Elsewhere

Updated: Still 1-Star. I like the icon and layout. But seriously theres no reason to charge a subscription for features that all other apps offer for free. Use some brain cell to come up with something unique that the buyer would pay for. Secondly, unless your service requires monthly maintenance or what not, its really poor taste to charge a subscription just for extra features. I rather pay $10 for the app and you can release Saver 3 next year and I might buy that, but theres no way Im going to pay a subscription for some extra features, thats nowhere innovative or worthy. PATHETIC Old: Just another expense app with no innovation to set it apart. Not comprehensive like HomeBudget and not simple like Sumptus. It would have been a 3-star app at $3. But $10 subscription in order to add more than 1 income per month and do recurring expenses? Then $20 to sync? And these price are for annual subscription, not a one time thing either. My goodness! Im all for developer making money, but how about think of innovative features instead of trying to charge for basic features thats baked in to all the other apps. Thats why this is a ripoff. An underwhelming expense app with some eye candy and thats all this is. Stay away. Dont support these rip off artist. Put your money in apps that are innovative like Sumptus or an ugly app that has everything like HomeBudget.

Great app, no need for subscriptions

The improvement from saver 1 is significant but this is a ripoff, you can charge more for the app and instead of forcing users to try other apps. Ive been using saver since 2011 and Im currently looking for other apps

Not Expensive

Contrary to most reviews you read here, the app definitely worths the USD11.99 per year subscription because of its quality and features. Yes, you can get free or cheaper alternatives but nothing comes close to the polish of this app. But I do have to say that the developer did the mistake of not going the freemium model initially like Overcast or paid once model like Hit List. Most users in AppStore are so spoilt nowadays that they cant see the true value of an app even though they are worth the renewal fee. Going paid and paid again model will definitely garners all those negative reviews. Although it makes sense going subscription based to be financially feasible but a paid once with a new version next year might also works since the syncing is all on iCloud. – @antiextra

You got be kidding me!

Need to pay the important features every year? Are you kidding me? The same features in other apps are all most free! I have deleted saver 2.

Rip off! Dont buy from this greedy developer!

$12 annual subscription for features that would be built-in from other $5 or less apps. These include basic features like multiple income, multiple currencies, editable categories and data export. What a shame! Buy other single-purchase budgeting apps instead.

Good and challenging

I find the App ideal for iPhone and hope soon iPad. Intuitive which means require user to play with it. Once you get it is great and easy. I suggested to have yearly option since currently only monthly is the longest time offered. I can recommend. I am sure it will be improving. Good reply from customer service

Misconception about $20 subscription

This wonderful app contains features that ive need looking for as a mediocre user which are designed in a very user friendly (after you discover some hidden features) and visually appealing way. In other words, I love this app. One point I need to clarify is that I see there is some confusion about paying $20 annually to get ALL the features. Correct me if I am wrong, the app & the website clearly mentions that the "pro" version contains ALL the features of "plus" version AND some additional features. Therefore, if you subscribe for "pro" package only, then just paying $12 will help you get ALL the features this app has to offer. Hence, I suggest the developers may further highlight/clarify this point to prevent some misconception of paying $20 for this app and help popularize this fantastic app. Keep up the good work!

AWESOME APP

never lost rrack of my money again. simply awesome

Great update!

Finally looks great on my iphone 6! Btw, have you received my feature suggestion?

Look elsewhere

Saver 2 was alright but with flaws while I used it. There’s a lack of flexibility and ease of use with no clear instructions. This would all amount to 3 stars. However, they have secretive practices, one of which is roping you in by getting you to use the app for a month, then restricting you to being able to add no incomes (yes, 0, instead of the free 3 incomes that is allowed for 31 days). They probably do this because they expect you to just pay because you don’t want to change apps. I say screw that. Try Dollarbird. Way more options and flexibility without paying. And even if you do want to pay, Dollarbird is worth it and way more up front with their practices..

Nice but...

Not good if you expend from more than one account.

Love

Definitely love this app and wouldve given four stars, if there was a widget functionality.

The best for me!

Thanks for making such a fantastic finance app.

Best financial app ever!

Best financial app ever!

Fantastic Budgeting App

Ive tried every budgeting app there is in search for something that works well, looks good, and has a legitimate business strategy (instead of relying on ads, etc.) Saver 2, though not perfect, is one of the best budgeting apps out there. The UI is great, has lots of functionality, and I was able to use it without any "training". Keep up the good work!
